In response to rising energy costs, the Federal Government has decided to introduce a one-off heating allowance in autumn 2022. This will relieve household costs for certain groups of people. Given the persistently critical situation, the Federal Government has decided on a second heating cost subsidy. This is to be paid out in spring 2023.
